Traveling Light

Having lived in Southern California on and off for the better part of seven years, I feel that I have now become accustomed to the seasonal variations we experience here. This week we entered the southern Californian summer. It usually begins about this time and continues until October with a brief break in June. Definitely warm enough to make you not want (or have) to use the dryer.

It is nice to not have to take a coat to work or class. No matter what some people say, it is decidedly not warm here all the time. I’m not saying it snows or anything, but it’s fairly cool from December to March so it’s good to be warm again. Ask me again in July though. :)

As you might have noticed, our blog looks a bit different today. Rebecca and I have been talking for a while about changing some things around and now that I am finished with my spring classes we had some time to do it.

The other change is that I’ll be writing as well now. I’m not sure how well this plan will hold up once the next semester starts, but I’m looking forward to contributing. I hope you all like the new look, please let us know what you think.
