frugal adventures

My sister Emily has dubbed me the “coupon nerd” and often offers to make me a t-shirt that says “I heart coupons.” We have fun joking about it and she is a good sport to accompany me on many shopping excursions. I’ve definitely have had some adventures with coupons and dismay/suspision from checkers at how much money they often end up saving me.
For example, everything in this picture cost $4.71 at Target after coupons and a gift card that I got back for purchasing the Quaker products. While it’s not my intent to document all of my savings and blog about everything from snack foods to cleaning supplies, I did want to give at least one shout out for coupons. They really do work :)

They are wonderful aren’t they. I’m a coupon nerd too. I tend to stockpile with coupons. There was a point for a couple months where all we had to buy was milk and fresh stuff. I do the baseball card protectors in a folder for my coupons. What method do you use?

I don’t want to be overly obnoxious, but I thought you’d like to be notified that your arrangement for the photo covered up the joint juice…:o)
